Speech recognition startup Reson8 raises €5 million
Reson8 receives an investment of €5 million from Balderton Capital, NP Hard.
Reson8 develops hyper-personalized automatic speech recognition specifically designed for European languages, dialects, and technical jargon. The technology uses small, plug-in adapters that adapt in real time with context from documents, websites, or calendars. This allows the system to accurately recognize specialized terminology, for example in healthcare, the legal sector, and customer service.
The investment raised will be used to further expand Reson8’s European infrastructure, improve the speech models, and strengthen the team with top technical talent. Additionally, the company aims to expand its models to more than 20 European languages, thereby offering a reliable, European alternative to American speech AI platforms.
