Deeptech startup Quantware raises €152 million
Quantware raises €152 million from Intel, In-Q-Tel (the investment arm of the CIA), and other parties.
Delft-based startup QuantWare develops technology for quantum computers, with a focus on scalable quantum processors. The company builds hardware that allows complex calculations to be performed faster than with classical computers. This is relevant for sectors such as cryptography, materials science, and AI.
The startup positions itself as a supplier of the next generation of high-performance chips for quantum applications. With the €152 million investment, QuantWare aims to scale up production and further industrialize its technology. The capital will also be used to gain international market share and establish new collaborations.
