Payment infrastructure company Nopan raises €7.2 million

Nopan has raised €7.2 million in growth capital. The round was led by Newion, with follow-on investments from Crane and Seedcamp, plus various fintech angels. The company is based in Amsterdam and was founded by former Netflix executives Konstantin Surkov and Nick Ryabov.  

Nopan builds payment infrastructure for account and wallet payments. The company aims to offer an alternative to traditional card payments. Through a single API, companies can successfully process more payments. The platform optimizes routes and connections between banks, resulting in increased payment conversion rates and reduced transaction costs. The company is capitalizing on the growth of European initiatives such as Wero.

With the new capital, Nopan aims to expand its European coverage. In addition, the optimization platform is being further developed. The company is also investing in commercial growth towards fintechs and digital enterprises.
